An An-22 “Antey” heavy transport aircraft belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense crashed in the Furmanovsky region with its seven-member crew on board. Emergency teams dispatched to the area reached the wreckage pieces shortly after the incident.
Officials stated that investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing, and the exact reason has not yet been announced. Search and rescue operations are continuing at the crash site.
